NanoICSP – pt2
Part 2 : Received, installed and… need debugging?
I received the package shortly! most impressed by the quality too! I might have been a tiny little bit overexcited to receive my first PCBs too but that’s another story. 🙂

I started to assemble the first one and within minutes I had one assembled (I think finding the parts in my bins were the long part of that project as there’s not a lot of components on that circuit). In theory, there is not a lot of stuff that can go wrong and it’s very straight forward. Here’s an example of how it would be used:

Although, I soon realized that I will need to spend some time on this project again, because…. it doesn’t work.
The realization killed my enthusiasm quick enough but I haven’t lost hope. I’m actually unsure if the ICSP is bad or my Win10 PC setup that I used is just being difficult for programming ICs (it’s been in the past, to a point where I stopped using Arduinos for that reason). So until I have some more courage, this project will be put on hold.
To be continued…
